Graduating from University College Dublin in 1968, Dr. Declan Lawlor is constantly advancing his knowledge in cosmetic procedures and technical advancements. Dr. Lawlor is versed in all general and cosmetic dental procedures: crown and bridge, bleaching, veneers, etc.
In 1976, Dr. Lawlor opened a successful practice on Kingsway. In 1981, Family Dental in the Village was opened. Dr. Lawlor soon after took on the venture of helping SunnyHill Hospital create their own Dental Department. This allowed the patients of SunnyHill remain inside for any dental work that was needed, rather than be transported to Childrens hospital dental clinic.
His office in the Village helps many children especially those who need extra gentle care. Dr. Lawlor is on the active Dental staff with privileges at Children's Hospital for over 25 years. Some children need the benefit of specialty General anesthesia at Children's to have their dental treatment completed. The family practice provides care for the whole family from the very young to the most senior.
